How your words and your name are kept apart

Survey responses are anonymous

Surveys here are answered without an account. Responses are stored with no name, no email, and no field that could hold either — the storage format itself has nowhere to put an identity, and an automatic check on every change to the system keeps it that way.

Before any number is published, small groups are protected: where few enough people share an answer that they might be recognized, the number is withheld. A person — not a process — reviews and approves everything that appears on this site.

What an account stores

Signing in exists for one purpose: opening the full results to those who take part. An account stores your name and email as Google or Apple provides them, your sign-ins, and whether you’ve said you took part in a study. Never a password.

If you choose to add them on your account page: your ecclesia (self-described), a phone number, and your communication preferences. The preferences start switched off, are only ever changed by you, and control the only messages we may send — study invitations and published findings.

Your account and your survey answers cannot be connected — not by policy alone, but by construction: the two are stored with no shared key, and the separation is verified automatically on every change to the system.

What we never do

• No trackers and no analytics, on any page.
• Nothing is sold or shared with anyone.
• No password is ever stored or asked for.
• Account details never enter analysis — findings come from anonymous responses alone.

Terms of use

Published findings describe the people who answered — never “the community believes.” You’re welcome to share and discuss them within the community with that framing kept intact. Signing in to view results asks one honest thing of you: that your answer to “did you take this survey?” is true.

You can remove your account yourself from your account page, or write to [email protected] with any question or correction — removal is honored either way, and your anonymous responses stay anonymous regardless, because nothing connects them to you.
